Walter Yosafat is a global CIO and SVP of Wyndham Worldwide, a fortune 250 hospitality company. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience using information technology (IT) and information security (IS) to the strategic advantage of large, global, complex organizations in growing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction. His experience in risk management spans eight acquisition integrations, 12 large-scale digital transformations and three IT cybersecurity creation or improvement initiatives. He created three Six Sigma and two innovation center programs.
Walter is the former global CIO and Americas CEO for Genpact, where he inherited a challenged IT function and Americas business, and restructured them into high-quality and profitable organizations. Prior to Genpact, he was CIO and eBusiness leader for the global Trane Air Conditioning and Bath & Kitchen business of American Standard Companies.
Walter was named 2013 Top Premier 100 Leaders of Computerworld. He is a speaker and panelist at Rutberg technology conferences and serves on the executive council of Evanta CIO conferences in New Jersey.
Walter serves as vice president of a local family services charity for Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties in New Jersey. Walter is a native of Ohio and earned his degree in quantitative analysis from the University of Cincinnati.
